Choose the Best Time to Shoot Photos with the Blue Hour Site
August 13th, 2010
Photography is all about finding the best light, and when it comes to ambient light there is a special place in every photographer’s heart for the Blue Hour — those fleeting moments between daylight and darkness that occur at the beginning and end of each day. Skylines, portraits, landscapes, architecture… it all takes on a different personality against the twilight sky.

Blue Hour Site is a web application that takes a few simple inputs:
- A date
- Country/state/city
Given that information, the site will tell you when the blue hour will occur at that location, on that date. For example, today’s blue hour in New York City will last from 5:07 AM to 5:47 am & 8:13 PM to 8:52 PM.
