Adobe Releases Professional Photography Software
January 29th, 2007
Adobe has announced Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, a new software package billed as “the professional photographer’s essential toolbox”. Lightroom is designed to adjust, edit, and manage your collection of digital photos. It’s compatible with all of the standard image formats, including JPEG, TIFF, DNG, and RAW, and supports “nondestructive editing”, meaning that any changes you make to a photo do not make changes to the original data.
If you want to jump on the Lightroom train early, Adobe has made it available at a special introductory price of $199 until April. After that, Lightroom will be sold at a $299 price tag.
